Hengyang Project Manager Kyla Alexander writes:
I just received this beautiful photo of Yang Heng Hong and wanted to share it with you as an encouragement. Yang Heng Hong is a little newborn girl that we asked everyone to pray for about 4 weeks ago. She was born with her bowel and liver protruding from her abdomen and needed urgent surgery to correct this.
The good news is that she came through the surgery with no major complications and is feeding well and extremely alert. International Volunteers Ron and Sue Burns are caring for Yang Heng Hong at home, and we are all falling in love with her!’
I just wanted to thank everyone for their continued prayers for her and let you know how well she is doing. Yang Heng Hong’s name means ‘Rainbow’, a word which speaks of promise and hope for the future. Like all our children she is a living testimony to Father’s goodness.
If you’d like to help us care for little ones like Yang Heng Hong, you can donate online or join our child sponsorship programme.
