The Steels - ICC Ambassadors

The Steels come from the north east of England and have just released their third album, "Supreme." All in their twenties, all having been on the road together for years, all with a shared passion for seeing their music help people establish deeper connections with God.

Their unmissable live sets have astounded music lovers at major festivals all over the world; more recently performing on BBC's 'Songs of Praise' and the God Channel's 'GTV LIVE.' The audience have the time of their lives while hearing The Steels blend of guitar driven rock, which delivers the message of Jesus in a new and refreshing style.

Visiting China

The Steels are ICC Ambassadors and promote ICC and its work at their concerts. The band went to China in 2010 to look at ICC's projects and meet the staff and children.

We have felt a real calling to use the time we have on stage to make a difference and encourage our audience to right the wrongs of this world. In September 2010 we had the privilege of visiting China and seeing the work of the charity first hand. The injustice was hard to witness but to see childrens lives saved through love was incredible.

The band joined the "Walk On The Wall" team who were walking 10km on the Great Wall of China as a fundraiser. They then filmed a video for their new song, "Sing If You're With Me," right there on the Great Wall!
