Executive Board

Allison Davies

Allison has an LLB in Law from Newcastle University and a BSc in Nursing Science from Northumbria University. She joined International China Concern in 2003 as China Teams Coordinator, before moving to Communication Services in 2007. She is now responsible for managing the department.

Allison enjoys music, writing, travel, cars and walking in the local countryside. She is married to Steve.

David Gotts

As well as serving on International China Concern’s Supervisory Board, David heads up our Executive.

Richard Hubbard

Richard has a BA in Economics from York University, and a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. In 2002 he left his post as the CEO of a crime prevention charity to work full time with International China Concern and now serves as Director of National Offices. He also coordinates International Administration, with overall responsibility for the sponsorship programme, China Teams administration and finance.

Richard and his wife, Fiona, have three daughters. They enjoy walks in the country as long as there is a tea shop at the end.

Susanna Lynam

Susanna serves as our Member Care Director, with responsibility for ICC’s international volunteers. She has a BA in English and History and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Queensland. Her early years were spent with her family in Papua New Guinea and she has a passion to encourage and strengthen those who have committed to full time service in China.

Susanna is married to Glen and the couple have four children.

Tanya Ponnan

Originally from Canada, Tanya joined International China Concern in September 2007. With a Bachelor in Commerce (Entrepreneurial Management) and a background in Human Resources and Marketing, Tanya is ideally suited to her role as Director of Development.

When not at work, Tanya enjoys cooking, travelling and photography.

Hang Khee and Victoria Tan

Hang Khee and Victoria moved from Singapore to Changsha in March 2007. Hang Khee has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of New South Wales and served with the Singapore Armed Forces for twenty-eight years. He took early retirement to work as a chaplain with the Military Christian Fellowship, and in March 2007 was appointed as International China Concern’s Director of China Operations.

Hang Khee speaks fluent Mandarin and is a gifted leader. Victoria is studying Mandarin and is spending time getting to know the children and young people as she supports Hang Khee in his role. The couple have 3 children.

Jannene Wall

Jannene has been involved with International China Concern since she participated in her first China Team in October 1999. Since then she has made regular trips to both our Changsha and Hengyang projects.

In 2006 Jannene was appointed Personnel Manager. She is well-qualified as she is the Human Resources Manager for an Australian Production Company.

To relax Jannene enjoys reading, swimming and her many international friendships. Jannene and her husband, John, have two daughters.
