China Operations Leadership Team

Kyla Alexander

Kyla is the China Operations Director as well as Hengyang Project Manager based in Hengyang. She is responsible for leading the team of international volunteers and local Chinese managers to impact the lives of all the children in ICC’s care.

She worked as a pediatric nurse in Australia prior to joining ICC full time in 2001. After two years of full time language study, Kyla held a number of roles in Team Life, Foster Care and Short Term teams in and around Changsha. In February 2006 Kyla moved to Hengyang to set up and manage the Hengyang project.

Justin Anemaat

Justin is Changsha Area Director, providing oversight to all the project areas in the city of Changsha.

Originally from Australia, Justin and his wife, Lisa, moved to China to serve with ICC in January 2001, initially undertaking language studies and serving as the Team Life Coordinators for many years within the Changsha Project. They have three children, Tyson, Brianna and Joshua.

Bruce Regier

Bruce is the Sanmenxia Project Manager, the most recent ICC project that began in 2010 in Henan Province.

Bruce, his wife, Anne, and their family joined the ICC team in June 2007. Originally from Canada, Bruce utilises his background as a social worker with over 12 years experience working in the areas of foster care and adoption first in Changsha and now in Sanmenxia. Bruce and Ann have five children – Corey, Maxwell, Grace, Jack and David.
